Well, I've finally got the whole band rigged.  I had a little trouble with the beat and the bounce of this one, but after three 3 hour renders (9 total hours of rendering), I finally got it right!

Introducing Cruche Duck

I did this #video to practice with the #rigging of #Loiseau #Dawg , as well as English captions for unknown languages.  I've discovered that the captions can be a bit too fast to read, which is something I need to watch for in the future.

Drawing Duke

 

This time, I'm #drawing the #keyboard player of "The 2 Penny #Band.  His name is #Duke Dirtenson, and he's the cousin of Dirk.  His homemade rig may not look like much, but it can hold its own against any professional keyboard.  

Drawing Cruche Duck

 

Here, I'm #drawing the #jug player of "The 2 Penny #Band. His name is #Cruche #Duck, and his first name simply means jug. A jug might not seem like an impressive instrument, but Cruche can do amazing things with it.

Drawing Loiseau Dawg

 

I decided to #draw the #drummer of "The 2 Penny #Band" this time. His name is #Loiseau #Dawg and his first name means "The Bird". Though his speech is unintelligible, his skill as a drummer makes up for it.

Drawing The 2 Penny Band Set

 

I've decided "The 2 Penny #Show with RG" needs its own #band.  So, I'm starting with the #stage #set.  The keyboard player is Dirk's cousin, so that's a hint as to the type of set it will be.

The actual #drawing time was about eleven and a half minutes, but this was also a test of whether or not I could put an extra #animation into a video.  Seems to have worked pretty good and I plan to do something similar to this for other time lapse drawings.  

Drawing Dirk

 

Some might call this #speed_drawing but I'm not sure it qualifies, (unless you think around twelve minutes is pretty fast, since that's how long the actual drawing took).  In any event, this is Dirk's new look and (after I get him rigged for animation) how he'll appear on The 2 Penny Show with RG.

Campfire Exercise

 

Since I only have the debut version of Anime Studio, I can't do particle layers.  Don't have the money for pro, so I had to make do.  Still, I think this will work if the fire isn't the main focus of the scene.  I plan to keep practicing.

Just practicing how to use switch layers in Anime Studio Debut.
